*Until we have submitted to the Lordship of Christ over our lives, we have yet to enter into the full meaning of what it is to be saved. *To say Jesus is Lord is to acknowledge Jesus as the supreme, divine ruler, who has absolute authority and power over all creation. *Jesus is both owner and master of my life. 1.) Absolute Ownership! ~1 Peter 1:18-19, God paid a ransom to save you (redeem) from your empty life, and the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. NLT ~ 1 Corinthians 6:19, Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, 20 for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body. NLT *When we gave our hearts and lives to Christ, that was the last independent, legitimate decision we ever made. *No man can serve two masters...it is not Christ and, it is Christ or! *We can’t receive what He wants to give, until we accept Him for who He is...He is Lord! 2.) Absolute Obedience! ~Luke 6:46, why do you call me Lord, and you won’t do what I say? Our behavior and our obedience are the greatest evidence that we have made Jesus Lord! *Will we recognize Jesus as Lord...have we surrendered to His Lordship?
