When You Pray
Text- Matthew 6:5-13 Biblical Fasting means to “Cover your mouth.” “Fasting is denying ourselves in the physical realm, with a spiritual goal in mind.” “My house, shall be called a House of Prayer.” The Priority of Prayer! Mark 1:35, And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. KJV “What would have to change, what would you have to rearrange, to make prayer a priority?” The Plan of Prayer We want to go into our prayer time prepared...we want to have a plan and a purpose for being there. The Power of Prayer From the birth of the Church to every great revival that has touched the world, prayer has the been the fire that has lit the fuse of God releasing His power. When we go to the Lord, we should expect the answers to our personal prayers. 1 John 5:14-15, And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything according to His will. 15 And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.
