Matthew 10:32-33 KJV Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. The Gospel of Christ is the Power of God. The word power is the word “Dunamis”, which is where we get our word “dynamite” from. The gospel message carries with it the very power of God. Man might not have the power to change himself, but God does! “When a church preaches the Gospel, when it preaches the message of the Cross, you’ve just lit the fuse of the most powerful explosive in the Universe.” The Gospel of Christ is the Power of God unto Salvation. Salvation is “Deliverance.” The Gospel of Christ is the Power of God unto Salvation to everyone that believes. Believing Faith is Trusting Faith! Proverbs 3:5 Trust the Lord with all your heart. Romans 10:9 KJV That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Faith and trust go hand in hand. If we believe in God, then we trust God. For therein (the Gospel which is the Power of God that brings Salvation to anyone who believes) is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. It is the revelation that His righteousness becomes our righteousness! 2 Corinthians 5:21 Christ became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Philippians 3:9 “And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”
